Dine and Share at 1st place sports bar and Grill - Nov. 6

It's another FCW PTA Dine and Share, and this time we're right in the neighborhood! Join us Friday, November 6 at 1st Place Sports Bar and Grill, 1736 W. Algonquin Road for lunch, dinner or anything in between--just mention the Whiteley PTA dine and share and a portion of your bill will be donated to our PTA!

This is valid for dine-in OR to-go orders placed in person or via phone--so bring the family, call up some friends, and have a fun night out that also benefits our PTA programs. See you there, Wildcats!

Used bike and Food donation drive - Nov. 7

DOUBLE the chance to do good in our community! We are teaming up with Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA and the Hoffman Estates Police Charitable Foundation for a double donation drive this Saturday Nov. 7, 9 AM-12PM!

Have an old or outgrown bike collecting dust in your garage? Let us help you make some room with our Used Bike Donation Drive! We're accepting donations of old and/or used bikes, parts, tools and accessories to benefit Working Bikes--a Chicago-based organization who seeks to strengthen local and global communities by giving donated bicycles new life and redistributing them as tools for self-determination, both locally and abroad.

No bike to donate? We're also accepting donations of old cotton t-shirts that can be repurposed as rags!

We're also helping HEPCF "Cram the Cruiser" with donations for their Thanksgiving food drive! Bring your nonperishable food donations to fill the squad car and help our community in this season of giving! Items needed: boxed/bagged mashed potatoes; jars/packets of gravy; boxed/bagged stuffing; canned green beans, corns, cranberry, sweet potatoes, cream of mushroom soup; French fried onions; boxed cornbread; marshmallows; canned pumpkin; pie crust mix; boxed dessert mix.

Drop off all your donations in front of Crank Revolution, located at 1744 Algonquin Road in Hoffman Estates--look for our tents and the squad car out front! Thank you for your support!

Picture retake day - Nov. 10

Did your student miss picture day, or would they like a retake? Here’s another chance to get that perfect school photo!

Students who would like a retake must bring their original Picture Day proof packet with them on retake day in order for their photo to be taken.

Be sure to send those proof packets to school with your student on November 10th if they need a retake. We look forward to capturing those smiles!

next PTA Meeting Nov. 10 - special election

Do you love Whiteley’s family events, have creative ideas, or enjoy bringing people together? We’re looking for our next Vice President of Community and Social Programs!

This Executive Board position helps coordinate the fun, family-focused activities that make Whiteley special, while supporting the amazing committee chairs and volunteers who bring them to life.

No previous PTA Board experience is needed, and you won’t be expected to plan or run every event yourself! It’s a collaborative role with plenty of support and a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on our school community.

2026-27 Yearbooks now on sale!

2026-27 Yearbooks are now on sale! Discounted pricing ($22 per yearbook) is available Sept. 10 - Dec. 18. Prices will increase to $27 per yearbook Dec. 19 until March 19th! Order early to save!

Orders will only be accepted on MTK. You'll find the sales form linked in your user profile or here!
Yearbooks will be distributed before the last day of school.
Printing timelines and ordering quantities will be set on March 19th - NO EXTRA YEARBOOKS WILL BE ORDERED OR SOLD AFTER.

Don't forget to fill out our 2026-2027 Volunteer Interest Form for our many committees and initiatives--some are brand new for this year! You can find the form in the Volunteer! dropdown menu, or in your My Account menu under "My Forms and Paperwork."

We've listened to your feedback and put together a wide variety of opportunities to get as many families involved as possible! Whether you're planning one of our mega-popular evening events like Trunk or Treat or Multicultural Night, helping to celebrate our incredible FCW staff with our Snack Squad, or working on our online Spirit Wear store, you'll be working alongside other dedicated volunteers to support our amazing FCW family, and building relationships that strengthen our community.
